About Tamboti
Tamboti is a satellite tented camp on the banks of the sandy Timbavati River, 2 km east of Orpen. Thirty canvas tents and 10 semi-luxury safari tents on stilts are nestled under riverine trees, with no shop or restaurant on-site. The dry riverbed draws elephant after dark, and an in-camp bird hide is a peaceful retreat from the road.
