About Satara

Satara sits in the flat open thornveld of central Kruger where vast plains support massive herds of zebra, wildebeest, and buffalo — and attract the predators that follow. Nicknamed the "cat camp", it has the highest density of lions in Kruger and consistently produces the best big cat viewing in the park. The N'wanetsi stream just outside camp is a renowned ambush site.
